Questions
The short answers.
Is my company's information safe?
Yes, we treat everything you give us as sensitive. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), it's never used to train AI models, and we keep the minimum: no video or audio, Office and text files read in your browser, PDFs deleted right after reading. Guides are only reachable through their private link and you can delete them anytime. Still, avoid recording passwords or customers' personal data. Details in our privacy policy.
Do you record video or audio of my screen?
No. While you record, ShowOnce takes a screenshot only when your screen changes. Your narration is turned into text by your browser's speech service; we receive only the text.
Who can see my guides?
Only people you send the link to. Links are long and random, and guide pages are hidden from search engines. Share them only with your team.
What happens to the files I upload?
Word, PowerPoint, Excel and text files are read inside your browser and only their text is sent. PDFs are uploaded, read once to build the guide and then deleted.
Can I delete a guide?
Yes. Open it from the browser where you made it and click Delete guide. It's gone for good, screenshots included.
Does it work with our tools?
Recording works with anything on your screen: CRMs, accounting, support desks, spreadsheets, internal tools. For the files mode, list your tools and ShowOnce explains the usual way to do each task in them, marking where your own docs don't cover it.
How do credits work?
Each guide uses credits based on how much the AI has to read: a short recording uses about 35, a long one about 80, a 20-page folder about 90. You always see the estimate before you build and you're charged what the guide really took. Questions to the AI trainer don't use credits. Credits reset each month and don't roll over. The Free plan gives you 3 guides a month made with our fast model, without the AI trainer.
Is the AI always right?
No. It's usually close, but it can miss or misread a step. Review each guide before you share it; you can always re-record.
How do I cancel?
From your Whop orders, anytime, in a couple of clicks. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
